So gather your supplies, pour yourself a beverage, and bring your artistic energy as we spend the evening together stretching our creative muscles. This event is free of charge, open to anyone who registers, and is suitable for all ages. We will send you a link to join the event after you register. REGISTER HERE Drink & Draw events are a longstanding tradition in the art community where people gather to draw in a welcoming environment without inhibitions. Although the events often coincide with happy-hour style programming, there is no requirement or emphasis on alcoholic consumption. A Closer Look at Operation Allies Refuge & Operation Allies Welcome

In the aftermath of the 2021 Kabul Airport (HKIA) evacuation, the U.S. Military set up processing bases in Italy, Germany, Spain, Qatar, UAE & Kuwait. The more than 80,000 evacuees were then transported to bases stateside (VA, TX, NM, WI, IN, NJ). Two remarkable Veterans – COL Jeff Patton & BG Dan Gabrielli – who were assigned leadership posts at bases in Germany and New Mexico respectively will share their accounts of facilitating the largest airlift in American history. Wisconsin Adjutant General Knapp will share stories and images from Fort McCoy which served as one of the largest processing centers in the country for our Afghan allies. The permanent status of many of these evacuees remains uncertain as the Afghan Adjustment Act continues to be debated in the nation’s capital. Join our very own Chris Kolakowski along with Randal Dietrich of the Minnesota Military and Veterans Museum as they moderate the discussion. This event is free and will be held via Zoom.
