2011 Golf Outing to Support Museum’s 150th Sesquicentennial Programs and Exhibits

2011 Golf Outing to Support Museum’s 150th Sesquicentennial Programs and Exhibits

(MADISON) – There is still time to play at the Wisconsin Veterans Museum Foundation’s 7th Annual Golf Outing. Sponsored by Spacesaver Corporation, the outing will be held on Monday, July 11th at the Oaks Golf Course in Cottage Grove. The event begins at 11:00 a.m. and the cost to play is $125 per individual or $500 per foursome. Golfers with at least three first-time players can golf for $100 per person. Space is limited to the first 120 players.

The event includes a four-person scramble, prizes for a wide range of competitions, and drawings for additional gifts. Contestants will also have a chance to win a Capital City Harley Davidson motorcycle. Proceeds from the event will be used to support the Museum’s 150th Sesquicentennial programs and new exhibits.

The Wisconsin Veterans Museum Foundation is a nonprofit, 501(c)3 tax-exempt charitable corporation. It exists to raise financial support for the Wisconsin Veterans Museum’s educational programs and exhibits. The Wisconsin Veterans Museum is a free public educational activity of the Wisconsin Department of Veterans Affairs and is located at 30 W. Mifflin St., across the street from the State Capitol.
