VIRTUAL MESS NIGHT: HONORING THE HO-CHUNK WARRIOR

Please join us for our first Virtual Mess Night on November 19, 2020 at 7:00 pm. While we can’t all get together for a fantastic meal yet, we can welcome Professor Tom Jones from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Professor Jones will be speaking about his experiences with the Memorial Day celebrations of Ho-Chunk Veterans, a project that he has been involved with since 1998. Professor Jones is a Ho-Chunk member and his specialty lies in the photographic documenting of Native American Warriors, which he connects to their pride in home, family, and community. Join us on Sunday, June 27th, 2021 for this year's Convoy Speaker Series fundraiser at Terrace 167 in Richfield, WI. The event will feature keynote speaker former Staff Sergeant Eric Maddox. SSG Maddox was the interrogator attached to a Delta Force Team in Tikrit, who gathered the intelligence that led to the capture of Saddam Hussein. He wrote a book on his experience titled, Mission: Blacklist #1. There will be a VIP book-signing event starting at 10 AM until 11:30 AM. Tickets are $50/person. The costs includes his book, lunch and the keynote speech. General Admission cost is $25/person and includes lunch at 11:30 AM and program. If you can't make it in-person, you can join us virtually for $5 and we will send you instructions. This event was made possible by the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 11038, in partnership with Washington County, the Village of Richfield, Camp Hometown Heroes and the Fisher House Wisconsin.
