Foundation Sponsorship and Special Events

The Wisconsin Veterans Museum Foundation hosts two special events annually: Convoy Speaker Series and our Annual Golf Outing event.  Your support is crucial to sharing our veterans’ stories. The continued support of sponsors like you ensures the museum is able to properly honor and preserve the legacy of Wisconsin’s veterans and share their stories with the more than 20,000 students and 90,000 visitors that enter our doors each year. All proceeds from these events support the Museum's award-winning programs, acquisitions, and exhibits.

If you are interested in becoming a sponsor for our special events, please contact the Foundation office at (608)261-0536.

SAVE-THE-DATE!

WVMF Annual Golf Outing at The Oaks Golf Course - Monday, July 15, 2024

Join us on Monday, July 15, 2024 at the beautiful Oaks Golf Course in Cottage Grove. The event will be a four-person scramble featuring hole-in-one prizes, a putting contest, our Hail Mary Ball Toss event, prize drawing, lunch and heavy hors d’oeuvres following golf. This will be a great opportunity to mingle with the state’s military, business and veteran leaders.

Registration opens at 9 AM and shot gun start at 11 AM. Proceeds from this year’s golf outing will support the Wisconsin Veterans Museum’s Oral History Program, which contains the personal stories and military experiences of Wisconsin-connected veterans of World War I to the present day. There are currently over 2,800 interviews in the collection. These interviews complement and extend the archival, library, and artifact collections of the museum.  The staff look to preserve more of our veterans’ stories and share them online with hundreds of thousands of people, so we can continue to honor and preserve the legacy of our Wisconsin veterans.

Hope to see you out on the course for a great cause! Registration will open April of 2024.
