Specialist Mary E. Hanson-Bailey
Mary E. Hanson-Bailey served in the United States Army as a transportation specialist and administrative assistant from 1985 to 1989. She describes her time in the Army as an exciting and joyous time, where she met others like her and enjoyed her work supporting the REFORGER mission. Her discharge from the Army was very difficult for her but she discusses how she grew into a lifelong advocate as a result of her difficult experiences.
