Marquette University professor Alison Efford will discuss her latest work, which focuses on the collection of letters of Mathilde Franziska Anneke who, after moving to the United States, became a noted proponent of woman suffrage, working with Elizabeth Cady Stanton and Susan B. This free event will be based on 3 rounds of trivia, with each round focusing on topics such as: history, pop culture, names and places, events, and fun facts. While we can’t all be together, we can share discussion on major motion pictures that deal with the hardships, humor, and horrors of combat. For October, we will discuss the 2019 film The Outpost.
