February 2021 Virtual! Drink & Draw

Welcome to the Wisconsin Veterans Museum’s February 2021 Drink & Draw. We always enjoy sharing Valentines Day with all of you, and even though we cannot be together in person, we can still remember our loved ones in a special and unique way. This February, we will focus on drawing a portrait of a service member in uniform using colored pencils and you can take your learned skills and create a handmade Valentine for someone you love.

No experience is necessary. Gather your supplies, pour yourself a beverage, and bring your artistic energy as we spend the evening together stretching our creative muscles. Feel free to reference some of the provided drawing guides below.

This event is free of charge and open to anyone who registers. We will send you a link to join the event after you register.

SUPPLIES:

  • Basic Sketching Pencils, or a HB Pencil, whatever is avaialble
  • Paper, either sketching or printer paper will work fine as well
  • Colored Pencils- any brand. The instructor prefers Prismacolor Premier Pencils (see photo below) including the Colorless Blender. These pencils are available online and at most Target stores and at arts and crafts stores.
  • Eraser
