The Oaks Golf Course 4740 Pierceville Rd, Cottage Grove, WI

The 19th annual Wisconsin Veterans Museum Foundation golf outing, sponsored by WPS Health Solutions & U.S. Vet General Contracting LLC, is scheduled for Monday, July 10, 2023. The event will take place at the beautiful course at The Oaks Golf Course in Cottage Grove. Registration includes green fees, a cart with GPS, range balls, tee gifts, lunch and a heavy hors d'oeuvres reception following golf. Competitors will be divided into two separate divisions, allowing contestants the opportunity to compete with individuals in their own age group. Division one will be made up of contestants under 65 years of age. Division two will be contestants ages 65 and older. Winners in both divisions will receive prizes!  All proceeds from this event support educational programs and exhibits at the Wisconsin Veterans Museum. EVENT IS SOLD OUT! Candlelit Cemetery Tours at Forest Hill Cemetery Tours leave every 20 minutes between the hours of 5 and 8pm On March 29, 1973, the last American combat troops were withdrawn from Vietnam and Wisconsin was there in more ways than one. Join the Wisconsin Veterans Museum for their annual Talking Spirits: Forest Hill Cemetery Tours, now celebrating its 25th year, to see, hear, and experience how the Vietnam War changed the lives of thousands of Wisconsinites for decades to come. These tours will feature four vignettes along the tour route, as historical actors portray veterans’ experiences in Vietnam, as well as the policymakers who brought the war to conclusion, and the important mission of bringing our MIA’s home.
